On October 16th, Benjamin Maxwell, left his home and family for two years to serve a mission in San Jose, California.

As a missionary: He will teach of Jesus Christ and His gospel. He will have doors slammed in his face and be yelled at. He will meet people from all walks of life. He will stretch himself. He will learn about himself. He will learn of his Heavenly Father's love for him and for all His children. He will learn to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost. He will serve the people of San Jose. And he will LOVE more than he though possible.

Let it change you!

Happy Easter right back! I hope your Easter was wonderful. I did get the package and I actually used the eggs to teach an Easter lesson at our Easter dinner. It went super well and saved me a lot of creative thinking a preparation! We have had a couple of really cool miracles this week.
First we were at church on Sunday (imagine that), and these two girls walk in and are asking to learn more about the church because they live down the street and want to know more about the church that is right next to their house. So we taught them a quick version of the first lesson and got there information and will meet up with them later in the week. Pretty cool how they just walked into church.
Second we  help a lot of random people with service this week. We decided that whenever we saw someone that might need help we should  stop and help them so we did that all week and it was awesome. Random acts of service are the best! Lots of yard work and lots of sun time! It has been so nice out.
With the new transfer I got an all new district so its basically like starting all over again which is really annoying but easy at the same time. I love serving my fellow missionaries. They are awesome!
I hope you all had a great week and  that all are doing well. Take care and I will have more to share next week!

Ps: Really short on time this week, Sorry! I love you all so much. The atonement will change you! Let it change you! It is wonderful.

Love, Elder Maxwell
